Equipment

EPD Electronics has recently updated its SMT and through-hole assembly lines to support current package styles and to handle both lead and lead-free soldering requirements. We have special tools to support the more complex assemblies and box builds, and provide functional testing of most products we build.

Systems

Our proprietary software systems allow us to procure parts for multiple projects at the best price and availability. Our manufacturer-based part numbering gives us control over substitutions in line with FDA and ISO standards for manufacturing.

People

Our skilled technicians are trained to build to IPC Class 2 standards, with some clients in mining and medical industries requiring more stringent controls on manufacturing.

EPD Electronics is flexible to accomodate changes in parts availability and in-stream changes to new product designs. We can give you feedback on the manufacturability of your new product, and offer suggestions to improving the cost-effectiveness and yield.

EPD Electronics provides a standard 90-day manufacturing warranty on all boards that we build. We provide extended warranties on products that EPD Electronics designs and builds for customers.
